North Scituate, R.I. — June 8 — In order to preserve vital life-saving skills, members of the North Scituate Fire Department participated in a CPR refresher course with staff from the Chopmist Hill Fire Department. Current CPR recommendations, patient evaluation methods, and emergency response protocols utilized in medical emergencies were all covered in the course. Frequent refresher training ensures that firefighters and other emergency personnel are always ready to respond quickly to crises.

Members from both agencies had the chance to train together and improve interagency cooperation throughout the session. Ongoing education is still a crucial component of emergency preparedness, according to department officials. Locals who wanted to give back to their community were urged to find out more about volunteer possibilities, and new members might receive training.
