Interagency Forcible Entry Training Strengthens Fireground Collaboration

Savannah, GA - Savannah Fire Department’s West Battalion crews recently conducted forcible entry training in partnership with the 165th Airlift Wing Fire Department.
The joint training focused on improving forcible entry techniques while also enhancing coordination between the two agencies. Officials noted that working alongside neighboring departments allows personnel to share knowledge, refine skills, and improve overall readiness for emergency response.
The exercise is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen interoperability and ensure seamless cooperation during future incidents.
