Kitten Rescued From Engine Compartment Near Eastern Wharf

Savannah, GA - Savannah Fire Department crews responded earlier in the day after a kitten became trapped inside a vehicle’s engine compartment near Eastern Wharf.
Engine 5 and Rescue 1 worked to safely access and remove the animal without injury. Following the rescue, the kitten was transferred to animal rescue personnel for care and evaluation.
No injuries were reported, and the incident was resolved safely.
