Trenton, N.J. — May 23 — As part of their ongoing fire academy training, recruits with the Trenton Fire Department received education in water supply operations. Stretching attack and supply lines, installing hydrants, and ensuring dependable water sources were the main topics of discussion. Through a series of hands-on exercises, trainees honed the abilities necessary to distribute water promptly and effectively in emergency situations.


Throughout the training, instructors placed a strong emphasis on cooperation, communication, and appropriate hose deployment techniques. As the cornerstone of successful fire suppression efforts, water delivery operations continue to be a crucial component of firefighting. The practical instruction helped recruits hone the fundamental abilities needed for effective and safe fireground operations.
