Newton, N.J. — June 15 — Firefighters Dylan Amalfitano and Seamus Wilson have fulfilled the prerequisites to become certified firefighters, according to the Stillwater Area Volunteer Fire Company. In order to acquire the skills required for emergency response, the two have been attending training two nights a week and taking part in Saturday sessions for the past six months. Fireground operations, safety protocols, equipment use, and practical exercises were all part of their training.

Firefighter certification necessitates a great deal of preparation, devotion, and commitment, according to department officials.
