Sussex Fire & EMS Mourned Loss of Fred Hosking

Sussex, N.J. — May 23 — Life Member Fred Hosking, who served the Sussex community and the department for 57 years, passed away, according to Sussex Fire & EMS. Hosking contributed to the department's mission and the customs of volunteer emergency response during his time with the organization. Reaching life member status, according to department officials, demonstrated a long-standing dedication to community support and public service.


Sussex Fire & EMS, located at 25 Loomis Ave., continues to offer locals emergency medical services and fire protection. In addition to remembering Hosking's decades of commitment and contributions to the department's history and success, members offered their condolences to the Hosking family.
