Springfield FMBA Local 57 Marked Memorial Day

Springfield, N.J. — May 25 — In observance of Memorial Day, Springfield FMBA Local 57 paid tribute to US military personnel who died while serving their country. Every year, the occasion was used to honor those who gave their lives to protect the nation and its liberties. Additionally, Local 57 honored the friends, family, and other service men who continue to pay tribute to them.


Firefighters urged the community to consider the actual significance of Memorial Day as people gathered during the holiday weekend. The event brought attention to how crucial it is to commemorate the men and women whose sacrifice and service are still valued nationwide.
