Rescue Squad Honored During National EMS Week

Westfield, N.J. — May 20 — During National EMS Week, the Town of Westfield Fire Department honored the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad members for their commitment to emergency medical treatment and public service. The theme for this year is "We Care." "For Everyone" emphasizes the vital role EMS workers play in communities on a daily basis. Rescue squad members provide around-the-clock medical response, working alongside firemen to aid residents and visitors during crises.


In order to provide prompt and efficient emergency response throughout Westfield, the fire department and rescue squad work together. Fire authorities expressed gratitude to EMS workers for their ongoing dedication to serving and safeguarding the community.
