East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 members held a training session on Tower 42 operations and fireground water distribution capabilities on May 28.

According to officials, firefighters reviewed master stream techniques and pumping operations in addition to practicing the whole deployment of the department's 100-foot aerial tower. The 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump in Tower 42 was used by crews to practice delivering massive amounts of water, which are frequently required during significant fire events.
