Brigantine, NJ - Members of the Brigantine Fire and EMS Department Dive Team recently completed training focused on black water search and recovery operations, some of the most challenging conditions faced by rescue divers.

The exercises emphasized navigation, communication, and recovery techniques in zero-visibility environments, helping strengthen overall team coordination and operational readiness.

Officials said the ongoing training ensures divers remain prepared for complex underwater rescue and recovery incidents when they arise.
