At the neighborhood splash pad on May 26, Ambridge Firefighters took part in a Memorial Day community program, educating families about fire safety.

According to officials, firefighters spent time with homeowners and children at the event and provided fire safety pamphlets. Allowing kids to investigate the department's fire apparatus and discover more about the tools firefighters use in an emergency was one of the day's highlights.
