This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Members of the Jefferson Hills Fire-Rescue thanked Jim Lovell Paving on June 13th for providing and setting up an asphalt pad to help in firefighter training.

According to officials, the new pad offers a level, safe surface for a department training prop, enabling firefighters to perform drills and skill-building exercises in a more productive training setting. The improved foundation will aid in continuing training initiatives and guarantee that staff members may safely practice vital rescue and firefighting skills.
