BOXFORD, MA — May 23rd — Following his line-of-duty death, Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr. of Boston Fire Department Rescue Company 2 was honored by the Boxford Fire Department along with other fire departments throughout Massachusetts. The department, which is situated on Middleton Road, sent condolences to Kilduff's friends, family, and fellow firefighters.

The emergency services community, where firemen frequently band together to help one another during trying times, was affected by the death. Kilduff's service and commitment to public safety were acknowledged with tributes from departments throughout the area.
