Oak Bluffs Fire-EMS Honors Providers During EMS Week

OAK BLUFFS, MA — May 21st — During National EMS Week, the Oak Bluffs Fire-EMS Department honored their paramedics and EMTs for their contributions to the Martha's Vineyard community. EMS workers received recognition for their efforts in delivering emergency medical care, assisting patients and their families, and answering calls around-the-clock. Fire Chief Stephen Foster and EMS Coordinator Luke Cote gave each provider a personalized gift and a handwritten card as part of the appreciation.


Additionally, the department expressed gratitude to the Oak Bluffs Ambulance Association for its ongoing assistance to EMS workers. The event brought attention to how crucial EMTs and paramedics are to maintaining the health and safety of locals and guests all year long.
