Hernando, FL - Hernando County Fire Rescue personnel spent the week advancing their Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capabilities through intensive high-angle training.


Crews trained in rope rescue, rappelling, controlled descents, and other technical rescue techniques. Each evolution focused on strengthening teamwork, precision, and safety in challenging, real-world scenarios.


Because when the call comes, preparation makes the difference.
