PORT SAINT JOE, FL — May 18th — In order to improve operational readiness, firefighters from the Gulf County Beaches Volunteer Fire Department, situated at 7912 Alabama Ave. in Port St. Joe, underwent aerial apparatus training. Coordination between airborne operators and ground teams, elevated access, stabilization, and apparatus positioning were the main topics of discussion during the event.

These abilities are crucial in situations involving rescue operations, building fires, and other crises that call for access to high places. Frequent practical training reinforces safe operating procedures and helps firefighters stay proficient with specialized equipment. According to department officials, the exercise offered a chance to examine protocols, enhance collaboration, and guarantee that staff members are still equipped to handle emergencies in Gulf County and the neighboring municipalities.
