Hall County Responders Complete Intensive ERDI Water Rescue Course

After eight days of intense water rescue training, Hall County Fire Rescue personnel finished an Emergency Response Diving International (ERDI) course on June 5.


According to officials, the program addressed drowning response, victim removal, search patterns, surface rescue operations, and scenario-based drills meant to get responders ready for water situations. Students had practical experience in methods utilized in challenging rescue and recovery situations during the course.


The students' commitment and successful completion of the challenging course were commended by department heads. Additionally, officials expressed gratitude to the instructors from the Hall County Sheriff's Office and Hall County Fire Rescue for their efforts in providing the specialized training.
