Members of the Hall County Fire Rescue finished a rigorous 40-hour Rope Technician course on May 22 in order to improve their advanced technical rescue skills.
According to officials, pupils received training in advanced rope rescue systems, rigging, high-line operations, pick-offs, and litter care. The particular school concentrated on abilities that are vital in complex rescue situations including challenging terrain, high altitudes, or cramped spaces but are not commonly required.
