Hall County Fire Rescue Honors Lt. Burt Sanders on Retirement

Lt. Burt Sanders was honored by Hall County Fire Rescue members on May 13th as he retired after 42 years of service.
According to officials, Sanders shaped generations of firemen and helped numerous members advance their careers by acting as a mentor, leader, and role model throughout his career. His devotion and hard work have a long-lasting effect on the organization and the community it serves.
Leaders in the department saw that Sanders was well-liked and had a significant impact on numerous careers throughout the years. Members expressed thanks for the time, energy, and expertise he contributed to Hall County Fire Rescue over more than 40 years of service, even though his absence would be missed.
