Crisp County Fire Rescue Responds to 79 Calls in May

According to data provided by the department, Crisp County Fire Rescue personnel responded to 79 service requests in May 2026.


43 medical calls, 16 alarm activations, 11 auto accidents, four brush fires, three vehicle fires, and one structure fire were among the occurrences reported by officials for the month. In addition to responding to emergencies, firefighters performed 110 pre-incident plans and one community risk reduction event with the goal of enhancing readiness and emergency operations.


Over the course of the month, department staff completed 711 hours of training, demonstrating their continued dedication to firefighter development and operational readiness.
