FF John Strickland Honored for Military Service in U.S. Navy

FLAGLER BEACH, FL — May 29th — Firefighter John Strickland was honored by the Flagler Beach Fire Department for his service in the US Navy and his ongoing dedication to public safety. Before entering the fire service, Strickland spent two years in the U.S. Navy. He brought discipline, teamwork, and dedication to his work as a fireman. According to department officials, military service frequently equips people with abilities that are useful for emergency response and community service.
