Firefighter Matthew Malach Marked Career Milestone in Flagler Beach

FLAGLER BEACH, FL — May 28th — Following his successful completion of his probationary period and official pinning as a full member of the department, Firefighter Matthew Malach was acknowledged by the Flagler Beach Fire Department during a City Commission meeting. Malach, a Fort Myers native, completed his EMT and Fire Academy training at Eastern Florida State College after attending Valencia College. His mother, Susan, accompanied the family for the event, and his father, Andrew Malach, pinned his badge.


A firefighter's career reaches a significant turning point when completing probation, which represents months of training, assessment, and preparedness for serving the Flagler Beach community.
