Citrus, FL - Citrus County Fire Rescue partnered with Superior Construction for a large-scale training exercise along the Suncoast Parkway, focusing on realistic emergency scenarios in an active construction zone.

The drill simulated a heavy equipment fire with an entrapped operator, a technical rope rescue from an MSE wall, and a site-wide evacuation. These scenarios strengthened coordination, incident command, rescue operations, and communication between responders and construction crews.
