HOPE, N.J. — May 17th — In recognition of EMS Week, the Hope Volunteer Fire Department's Station 38 Fire honored community-serving emergency medical personnel, including their colleagues at 46 Rescue in Blairstown. The contributions of EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, and other medical responders who support public safety operations and provide care during emergencies are highlighted during EMS Week. When it comes to medical emergencies, auto accidents, fires, and community gatherings, these experts assist fire departments.


Officials from the department emphasized the vital role emergency medical personnel play in safeguarding people as well as the solid collaboration between fire and EMS services. The event honored their dedication, education, and ongoing support of local communities.
