Country Hills Wins Best Appearing Apparatus Award for Third Straight Year

During the yearly Branchburg Township Fire Inspection on May 18, members of the Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company won the Best Appearing Fire Apparatus award.
According to officials, the department was awarded the prize for the third year in a row. Firefighters spent numerous hours getting Engine 24 ready for the inspection, which assesses the equipment and apparatus's look and condition.
The Readington Volunteer Fire Company was also commended by the department for winning the Best Appearing Manpower award. The Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company and the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company were among the fire companies from the township that attended the event.
