BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. — May 25th — Members of the Bloomingdale, New Jersey Fire Department, Station 2, located at 101 Hamburg Turnpike, joined communities across in commemorating Memorial Day and paying tribute to those who served in the armed forces. For those who gave their lives to defend the country, Memorial Day is a time for introspection and recollection.

Emergency response agencies and fire departments frequently take part in community celebrations and rituals honoring the holiday. Residents were urged by department representatives to respect the significance of Memorial Day while having a safe holiday weekend. Throughout the celebration, firefighters were ready to respond to crises.
