Hackensack, NJ - The City of Hackensack Fire Department’s 4th Platoon responded to a reported vehicle fire in the area of Anderson Street and River Street. Upon arrival, crews encountered an actively burning vehicle and immediately deployed a handline to initiate fire suppression.

Firefighters worked efficiently to bring the fire under control, containing it to the vehicle and preventing any extension to nearby exposures. Once the main body of fire was knocked down, crews conducted thorough overhaul operations to extinguish remaining hot spots and ensure the fire was fully out.

The incident was handled quickly and safely, with crews restoring normal conditions in the area shortly after operations were completed.
