Former Chief Bruce Tynan Celebrates 70-Year Milestone

Bruce A. Tynan was honored on May 26th by members of Cataract Hose Company No. 1 and the Hackettstown Fire Department for his exceptional 70 years of service.
According to officials, Tynan joined the department in 1956 and is still involved today, frequently attending events and functions. From 1989 to 1990, he held the position of Fire Chief, where he was instrumental in the department's growth, training initiatives, and rookie firefighter mentoring.
According to department officials, Tynan is the most senior member of the Hackettstown Fire Department and has gained the respect of many firemen over the years thanks to his devotion to public service. Members congratulated him on accomplishing the outstanding goal.
