Allegheny, PA - Firefighters from Allegheny Valley and surrounding departments gathered at Station 315 for a LifeFlight safety class focused on air medical operations.
Participants learned essential protocols for establishing and managing a safe landing zone, including communication with incoming aircraft and identifying potential hazards. Crews also had the opportunity to apply their training by assisting with a live helicopter landing.
This training enhances the ability of local departments to support EMS operations during critical incidents and strengthens ongoing efforts toward advanced rescue certification.
