West Clinton Fire District Salutes EMS Personnel During EMS Week

STAATSBURG, N.Y. — May 18th — During EMS Week, the West Clinton Fire District honored Emergency Medical Services employees and expressed gratitude for their ongoing community contribution. The district recognized the efforts of drivers, dispatchers, paramedics, EMTs, volunteers, and support personnel who respond to emergencies on a daily basis. When it comes to providing prehospital treatment during medical crises, auto accidents, and other emergency calls, EMS providers are essential.


Every year, National EMS Week is held to honor the contributions of emergency medical personnel and increase public awareness of the services they offer. Strong collaboration between EMS, fire, and law enforcement organizations is essential for an effective emergency response, according to fire officials. The district thanked EMS staff for their continued dedication to patient care, community service, and public safety.
