Members of the Elsinboro Fire Company and the Salem Fire Department took part in a joint training exercise on disaster preparedness and pre-incident planning on May 27.

According to officials, workers examined building layouts, access points, and operational factors that can affect emergency responses during a walkthrough of the Salem Senior Village Apartments. Firefighters were able to familiarize themselves with the property and talk about potential obstacles and response tactics throughout the simulation.
