Members of the Elsinboro Fire Company commemorated the graduation of local eighth-graders from the department's Future First Responder Program on May 22.

According to officials, the event gave participants a chance to interact with firemen and emergency medical services while also honoring the kids' efforts and commitment throughout the program. Graduates received certificates of completion, had lunch with department personnel, saw how first responders respond to an emergency dispatch, and took a tour of the fire station and equipment.
