Members of the Caldwell Fire Department and the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department came together on May 9th to support the yearly Police Unity Tour as it went through the neighborhood.

According to officials, firemen honored law enforcement personnel who lost their lives while performing their duties by flying a giant American flag above the road using ladder trucks from both departments. Before the riders arrived, crews gathered to honor the dead officers' sacrifices and encourage participants to carry on the journey in their honor.
