DURHAM, N.H. — May 18th — The Durham NH Fire Department honored the work of paramedics, EMTs, and other emergency medical personnel during National EMS Week, along with communities nationwide. "Improving Outcomes, Together," this year's theme, emphasizes the collaboration that underpins patient care from the initial 911 call through treatment and transportation. Every day, EMS personnel respond to a variety of medical crises in Durham, the University of New Hampshire, and surrounding areas.

The department, which is located at 51 College Road, offers emergency medical care in addition to fire and rescue services. National EMS Week provides a chance to honor the dedication, expertise, and professionalism of EMS professionals who contribute to the year-round safety and well-being of their communities.
