Newburgh Firefighters Share Message of Solidarity

NEWBURGH, ME — May 15th — Following a recent incident, Department Newburgh Fire and Rescue offered assistance to members of the Maine fire department as well as the Searsmont community. The impact that such incidents may have on families, residents, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and other public safety professionals involved in the response was acknowledged by the department. Strong mutual aid relationships are maintained by emergency agencies throughout Maine, and they frequently band together to support one another in trying times.


Department representatives acknowledged the commitment of responders serving the community and offered their condolences to those impacted. The statement demonstrated the emergency services community's strong feeling of solidarity and the state's departments' dedication to supporting one another in trying times.
