Ellington, NY - Members of the Ellington Fire Department took part in their annual bridge cleaning, helping clear away dirt, debris, and winter buildup throughout the district.

In addition to maintaining local infrastructure, the effort supports grant funding that helps provide essential gear, tools, and training for the department.

Crews also incorporated hands-on training during the operation, including pump operations, hose and nozzle control, traffic management, scene safety, and emergency vehicle operations.

A big thank you to all members who volunteered their time. The department continues to seek new volunteers—join us in serving and protecting the community.
