Ramsey, NJ - The Ramsey Fire Department recently teamed up with the Energy Security Agency and the Northwest Bergen Mutual Aid Association to conduct a specialized training session focused on electric vehicle (EV) fires.

The training brought together numerous mutual aid departments and agencies for an evening dedicated to understanding the unique challenges of EV incidents.

Participants took part in both a detailed classroom lecture and a hands-on outdoor demonstration, gaining valuable insight into lithium-ion battery behavior, fire suppression techniques, and scene safety.
