On May 5, Chief Morin of the Wells River Fire Department thanked current and former staff members in observance of International Firefighters Day.

Despite the many changes that have taken place within the fire service over the years, Chief Morin, who joined the department in 1972, observed that the passion and dedication required to be a fireman has not altered. He praised firefighters for always giving their all when called to duty and advised members to be proud of their accomplishments and service.
