Newport City, VT - The City of Newport Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Newport Inn & Suites, initiating a prompt and coordinated response.

Upon arrival, crews quickly located and contained the fire to a single room, preventing extension to adjoining areas and limiting damage within the building.

Firefighters conducted suppression, ventilation, and checks to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and no further hazards remained.
