The Thetford Volunteer Fire Department paid tribute to the men and women who died while serving in the US military on May 25.

Memorial Day was acknowledged by department officials as a moment to honor and consider the sacrifices made by military personnel who lost their lives defending the nation. Members also thanked individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for their bravery, commitment, and service.
