Mother’s Day Message Shared by Levant Fire & Rescue

LEVANT, Maine — May 10th — During Mother's Day weekend, Levant Fire & Rescue thanked mothers who are associated with the department for their support of firemen and emergency services. The department, which is situated at 3917 Union St. in Levant, recognized the significance moms play in motivating firemen to work and volunteer in the emergency services industry. The spouses of firefighters who take care of their families when their colleagues are called away for training, crises, and community activities were also acknowledged by officials.


Family support is crucial for sustaining volunteer staffing and operational readiness, particularly in rural regions, according to fire service organizations around the country. Levant Fire & Rescue expressed gratitude to all mothers associated with the department for their support of firefighters and for enabling departments to continue serving their communities all year long.
