Coeymans, NY - Members of the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation gathered for a weekly drill focused on strengthening essential first-in company operations and overall fireground readiness.
Training covered establishing a hydrant water supply, critical setup steps before delivering water to the engine, and hands-on ladder operations, including proper placement for roof access, window operations, and emergency egress.
Crews also practiced flowing handlines and operating the engine’s deck gun, while additional members worked through pump panel operations to reinforce engine company proficiency.
These ongoing drills ensure members remain prepared to respond effectively 24/7/365 to emergencies within the district and mutual aid calls to neighboring communities.
