The City of New York Fire Department continues to honor members who embody this year's theme, "Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together," throughout Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Battalion Chief Francis Li was praised by officials for stressing the value of cooperation, community engagement, and the trust that is developed between FDNY members and the various communities they serve around New York City. According to department heads, Chief Li's dedication to community involvement and public service is a reflection of the FDNY's continuous efforts to improve ties throughout the city.
