At the 24th Annual FDNY EMS Week Competition, which took place at the EMS Academy on May 17, personnel of the City of New York Fire Department demonstrated their emergency medical skills and coordination.

According to officials, paramedics and EMTs participated in a range of skill-based competitions intended to assess their operational preparedness, physical stamina, and emergency medical knowledge. In order to showcase the strength and cooperation of FDNY EMS staff, members also took part in the Strongperson competition.
