Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore of the City of New York Fire Department met with representatives of a number of FDNY-affiliated organizations on May 12 at a meeting held at FDNY Headquarters in conjunction with the department's Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
According to officials, the conversation centered on enhancing departmental support, communication, and agency-wide collaborative initiatives. Future plans to boost participation across the FDNY were also explored by participants.
