Members of the FDNY Phoenix Society took part in Manhattan's 5th Annual Japan Parade on May 9.
During the celebration of Japanese culture, heritage, and the ties between Japan and New York City, FDNY members marched with community organizations and cultural groups, according to officials. Every year, the procession brought viewers and participants from all across the area to Manhattan for the festivities.
