FDNY Honors Employees for More Than 7,100 Years of Service

The FDNY celebrated 309 workers' milestone work anniversaries on May 6th in recognition of their decades of service to the city. Both civilian employees and uniformed personnel from within the department were acknowledged, according to officials. When taken as a whole, the honorees represented over 7,100 years of city service. In 2025, the department also honored FDNY personnel who pursued university degrees outside of work hours, recognizing their ongoing commitment to both professional and personal growth.
