Ladder 143 of the City of New York Fire Department responded to an unexpected rescue in Queens on May 4th after a cat became stuck in a tree.
According to officials, the animal was securely reached by firefighters using their ladder truck, and it was returned to the ground unharmed. The event, according to the agency, demonstrated the wide range of calls firemen respond to while serving communities around New York City.
