FDNY Hellenic Society Marches in Greek Independence Day Parade

On April 25, members of the FDNY Hellenic Society took part in the 87th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade in Manhattan down Fifth Avenue.


Firefighters and FDNY members marched in the yearly event honoring Greek ancestry, culture, and the anniversary of Greek independence, according to officials. For the long-standing tradition in Manhattan, the procession brought together supporters, cultural organizations, and community organizations from all around the city.
