During First Responders Appreciation Night at Citi Field on April 25, members of the City of New York Fire Department were recognized for their lifesaving efforts in Queens and Brooklyn earlier this year.

As part of the recognition ceremony, EMS Division Chief Christopher Bilz, Rescue 5 Firefighter Tim McGuire, and Station 39 EMT Ryan O'Reilly took part in the ceremonial first pitch. The members were recognized for their commitment and contribution to neighborhoods throughout New York City, according to officials.

The celebration honoring emergency professionals and their ongoing dedication to public safety was attended by family members, other first responders, and supporters. The New York Mets won to round off the evening.
